Texas Terry.
After I did my shoot with Texas Terry and finally, after some delay, showed up with the proofs,
she seemed put out. She does hair for a living in her apartment. A client sat where a dinette would normally go.
The place reeked of bleach.
I pushed things around on her couch to sit down and sat like a thing sits on a glass table - like an object.
Every ten or fifteen minutes or so Texas Terry's client would say, "I can feel it burning."
Texas Terry was into the second hour or so of a run-on story of a female friend of hers going through a pregnancy.
About the time the client said it wasn't "burning" anymore, Texas Terry said with not a little enthusiasm,
"Now let's see them f-ckin pictures!....."
